At a club competition a club member may submit 2-4 entries in each of the following categories:

Large Prints

• Prints of any size to be mounted on a mat board that is no larger than 16x20 inches (40x50cm).
• Note that a 6x4 inch (15x10cm) print mounted on a 16x20 inch mat board is considered a Large Print.

Small Prints

• Prints of any size to be mounted on mat board that is no larger than 8x 10 inches (20x25cm).

Slides

• 35mm slides to be marked with a red dot on the lower left corner of the slide.mount - as the slide would be viewed normally

In All categories:

• Black & white images and colour images are acceptable.
• Digital imaging is acceptable provided the author can submit proof of original work if requested.

Accepted entries are allocated a grade by the Judge.

Grades

• The points allocated to an entry can range from 1 to 4.
  • 1 point - Entry
  • 2 points - Acceptance
  • 3 points - Credit
  • 4 points - Merit
• Work scoring less than Merit or Credit may be resubmitted in subsequent competitions; however, each image may accumulate only one score in any year towards the annual point.
• If an image is submitted more than once the highest score will be counted.
• No work achieving Merit or Credit standard may be resubmitted.
• Entries MUST be submitted to the Print and Slide Secretaries for processing by 7:30pm.  Late entries may not be accepted.

• Each image must be marked on the reverse with the author's name, title of image, month entered, and space for score.
